Your retreat theme will provide the framework for your entire event.  Choose a topic that is relevant and that will both challenge and encourage your guests in their walk with Christ.  If you are looking for inspiration for your next women’s retreat, here are a few theme ideas for you to consider:

Choose a key Bible verse or passage and weave it into all aspects of your event—teaching, worship, and marketing/decor.  You may even consider having the ladies memorize a verse as part of your retreat. Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”  The Word of God is powerful, and Scripture should be spoken, sung, and prayed throughout your event.   

A retreat offers a unique opportunity for rest, renewal, and life change.  Use your time together to encourage relationship—with Christ and with one another.  Pray that God would lead you to a theme that will resonate with your ladies and help draw them ever closer to Him.
