At Ridgecrest, forming relationships with our event planners is important to us. We want to get to know you and your needs as an event planner and ministry leader so that we can serve you well. When we are working with a new planner, here are a few things that we might ask:
- Can you tell us a little about yourself and your ministry? You might share about your family, how you heard about Ridgecrest, or your history with your ministry. Whatever you’d like to share with us is great. We are excited to get to know you as we work together on your upcoming event!
- What is the history of your event? Where have you held this event in the past? Knowing your event history helps provide us with context. If this is your first event at a conference center like Ridgecrest, we may need to explain our processes and resources in more detail. Also, a longstanding event is different than a first-time event and having that information helps us serve you better.
- What is the purpose of your retreat or conference? A training retreat is structured very differently than a fellowship retreat. Knowing the main focus or theme of your event can help us provide relevant suggestions during the planning process.
- Do you prefer to connect by phone or email? Please let us know if you have a preference for one form of communication over another. We also understand that you are busy, and we are happy to schedule a specific time for a phone call or Teams video call.
- How can we help support you during the planning process? If there is a specific need or concern that you have, please share that with us. We can brainstorm with you and make suggestions for what might work well at Ridgecrest.
- How can we pray for you? We pray for every event that we host, and we would love to know how to pray for you and your event specifically!
If you are planning your first event at Ridgecrest, we look forward to connecting with you soon. We want you to feel welcome, prepared, and supported. Our team is here to serve you with purposeful hospitality as we help bring your event vision to life.
