Fall at Ridgecrest is almost as busy as summer because everyone wants to visit the mountains in the fall.  It truly is a spectacular season to be at Ridgecrest.  Here’s a glimpse into Ridgecrest’s fall season:

Prime time for adult events and college events. Fall is a great time for marriage retreats, women’s retreats, men’s retreats, and college retreats.  Weekend events are popular, but weekday events are also common.

Catering. With an abundance of adult events comes an abundance of catering orders.  Banquets, breaks, and receptions are all part of our fall routine.

Seasonal decor and themes. Most of our retreat groups integrate the fall season into their event in some way.  This could be through decor, event theme, or attendee gifts.

Outdoor Time. The weather is ideal in the fall, and our guest groups take this opportunity to get outside.  Some guests hike to one of our 2 mountain summits while others find a spot on Rocking Chair Ridge to relax and enjoy the view.  A cool fall evening is the perfect time for a bonfire and s’mores, and our 3 fire rings stay busy with retreat groups.

Clouds Coffee Shop. Our on-campus coffee shop, Clouds, is a favorite Ridgecrest hangout in any season, but who doesn’t love a hot beverage on a fall morning?  For a special treat, try one of our seasonal beverages.  Clouds is also a great spot to purchase a Ridgecrest long-sleeved tee or sweatshirt to keep you cozy after the sun sets.

Minister stays. Fall is the perfect season to take time away for rest and renewal.  Ridgecrest offers a discounted rate for those in full-time Christian ministry to have a personal getaway (does not apply to scheduled events or conferences).  A minister getaway also makes a great gift for Pastor/Clergy Appreciation Month in October.
